The CPC Kids' Academy offers the following School Year programs:

What does that mean??

The Kids' Academy underwent a vigorous comprehensive process of internal self-study and continuous quality improvement and was visited and approved by by NAEYC for accreditation.

Little Learners, Preschool, and Pre-K Program
Our early learning program includes classes for

Little Learners - 30 months by Sept. 1st to 3 years old & fully potty trained

Preschool - 3 years old by Sept. 1st to 4 years old & fully potty trained

Pre-K - 4 years old by Sept. 1st to 5 years old

All early learning classes offer the following options:
Full Day ~ up to 10 hours
Half Day ~ 8:30am - 2:30pm
Part Day ~ 8:30am - 11:30am
We provide up to 3 snacks per day and lunch for all children in attendance during meal times

The early learning program is staffed by highly qualified, experienced teachers who meet or exceed the state educational requirements. Our researched based curriculum will engage the children through hands-on learning center activities and is designed to meet their individual emotional, social and cognitive needs. Our philosophy is that children learn best through play in a developmentally appropriate, engaging and nurturing environment.
Before and After School Program
The before and after school program is open to children from Prospect and Walker schools and includes full or part time enrollment options. Bus service is provided to Walker school.

The school age program is staffed by experienced, highly qualified teachers who meet or exceed DCFS licensing standards. Our nurturing teachers plan a variety of inspiring learning activities and provide a safe, comfortable and enriching environment for the children. After school activities may include dedicated homework time, indoor or outdoor large motor activities, arts, science, cooking, yoga, board games, crafts, and/or quiet reading time, to name a few. Activities vary throughout the week to encourage interest and participation. A daily healthy snack is included.

Kindergarten before and after school care is available and includes a hot lunch that meets state nutritional guidelines.
Summer Camp 2025
​Summer Camp is available at the CPC Kids' Academy! Fun weekly themes, sports, arts & crafts, and field trips, science fun, and games are just a few of the exciting offerings included in our summer camp program.
​

Enrollment
Priority registration is given to current families and runs through January 15th. Beginning January 15th, prospective families may submit applications for enrollment consideration. Upon approval, a non-refundable registration payment is due in order to guarantee your child's spot.
​
Due to classroom capacities some families may be notified that they have been placed on a wait list until space becomes available.
​

Apply
To apply, print and complete the CPC Kids' Academy Application for enrollment and mail it along with the application fee to the Academy. Applications are also available at the church office.

Tuition Assistance Fund
Community Presbyterian Church Kids' Academy is pleased to offer a Tuition Assistance program for those families in need.
​

Applications can be submitted confidentially for Tuition Assistance consideration

If in need, please request an application from the Program Director

Once submitted, the application will be reviewed by the Academy's Scholarship committee

Application, registration, summer, late pickup and delinquent account fees are not covered by our Tuition Assistance program
